The Indian team suffered a crushing seven-wicket defeat against dominant England in the final Test at the Edgbaston Cricket ground. The Indian team had an incredible first innings score, posting 416 runs. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja batted incredibly well and scored centuries to rescue the visitors from 89-5.
Similarly, they carried this momentum in their bowling as they bundled the hosts for 284 runs. But in the end, Baz-Ball proved expensive for the Indians as they succumbed to the duo of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root, who scored centuries and stitch up a massive 269-run partnership to chase down 378 in the fourth innings.
