Sports is always known for the ethics and discipline it brings in the life of a human. We have several examples of how sportspersons have stood on various occasions to show kindness amid competitiveness in a match. Saying so, we cannot ignore that there are some rare moments too which are neither pleasing to watch nor appreciative in terms of the game spirit. A similar incident happened in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 semi-final bout between Ravi Dahiya and Nurislam Sanayev that took place on Wednesday.

After Deepak Punia lost his semi-final game, India's hope to finish amid the top two spots in wrestling shifted to Ravi who didn't fail to impress. The star wrestler defeated Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev in the men's freestyle 57kg category to keep India's hopes for a gold medal alive. Despite trailing 2-9 at one point in the game, Ravi inched Nurislam on victory by fall. However, soon after the match the clips of the end part of game went viral on social media, which made Ravi a hero and fetched a lot of criticism to his opponent Nurislam.

In the clip, which shows Ravi making the final move before claiming the game in his favour, Nurislam could be seen biting Ravi on his right arm. Despite that the Indian wrestler didn't hold back and kept pressing Nurislam on the floor to get points to his credit. Soon after the that Ravi could be seen complaining about Nurislam's offence to the match referee.
