1. Max Verstappen - 18 years, 7 months, 15 days

The fact is that Max Verstappen still remains the youngest driver ever to have won in Formula 1 racing. In fact, he managed to do it during his first appearance at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix while driving for Red Bull. In particular, the opportunity came to him when two Mercedes drivers had a crash in the first lap, and then Verstappen beat Kimi Raikkonen.

That race victory could be regarded as a harbinger of the career of success. Indeed, later Verstappen managed to become a four-time world champion.

2. Kimi Antonelli - 19 years, 6 months, 18 days

Kimi Antonelli was able to enter the record books when he triumphed in the Chinese Grand Prix of the Formula One racing championship in 2026. The young Italian managed to clinch pole position during the event while winning the race from his teammates George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.

Antonelli is now the youngest pole-sitter in the history of the Formula One racing series. With such rapid progress, the young driver has now become one of the sport’s hottest prospects.

3. Sebastian Vettel - 21 years, 2 months, 11 days

Sebastian Vettel stunned Formula 1 at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix. Driving for Toro Rosso, he took pole in wet conditions and controlled the race to secure his maiden victory.

The win launched a remarkable career. Vettel went on to win four consecutive world championships with Red Bull from 2010 to 2013. He also remains the youngest world champion in F1 history.

4. Charles Leclerc - 21 years, 10 months, 16 days

The winner of the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix was Charles Leclerc who won his maiden victory at the circuit. Leclerc started the race from pole position and managed to fend off Lewis Hamilton in a highly emotional race weekend due to the untimely death of his good friend Anthoine Hubert.

Charles Leclerc became the first Monaco driver to win an F1 race. He is now one of Ferrari's key drivers, always leading the team in most races.

5. Fernando Alonso - 22 years, 26 days

Fernando Alonso claimed his maiden victory at the 2003 Hungarian Grand Prix with Renault. He dominated the race and became the youngest winner in F1 history at the time.

Alonso later won back-to-back world championships in 2005 and 2006. More than two decades later, he remains one of the most respected and enduring drivers in Formula 1.
