Day 4 of the Pacific Premier League also saw three back-to-back games played at the Pacific Sports Complex, Karanpur. While the first match of the day was between Team Traverse and Team USA Global, it was the latter who won the toss and elected to bat first. Proving the decision of their captain right, the batters put on a competitive 167/5 in their 20 overs.

Yuvraj Singh (115) was the stand-out performer with the bat as he scored an excellent hundred with his knock studded with 16 fours and 1 six. For Team Traverse, Hemraj Purohit who bowled his 2 overs for 9 runs and picked up a wicket was the pick of the bowlers.

In response to USA Global's 167, Traverse could only manage 158/6. Chirag Sharma (56) did put up a spirited show but could not chase down the total, handing USA Global a win by 9 runs. Anshuman Singh Hada (2/29) was impressive with the ball for the winning team in the first match of the day.

The second fixture of the day saw Team Gold Sports 11 up against Team Pacific Organic. Gold Sports 11 won the toss and opted to bat first in this match but unlike USA Global they could not score a total of 160 plus. They managed 146/9 with Mohit Jain top-scoring with 55 from 45 balls. However, the innings belonged to Pacific Organic bowlers led by Sawai Choudhary and Hitesh Pakhrot who scalped 2/24 and 1/26 respectively.

After their bowlers almost set up the game in the first half, the Pacific Organic batters did not disappoint and finished the game in 17 overs. Continuing his good form with the ball Pakhrot top-scored with the bat and scored 39 from 28 as Pacific Organic registered a win by 6 wickets.

In the final match of the day, Team Marvellous-Sojatia won the toss and chose to bat and although even they could not post a total in excess of 150 or 160, their 132/7 turned out to be enough for them to taste a win. Sourabh Chouhan 36 (23) was their best batter of the day in an innings dominated by Team Trully India bowlers. Manish Kumar Sharma (3/27) deserves a special mention.

In response, despite Anup Patel's 40 off 19, Trully India were bowled out for 97, implying a 35-run win by Marvellous-Sojatia. Kartikeyan Pal (4/11) bowled a superb spell from which the chasing side could never really recover.
