Pakistan cricketer Yasir Shah has found himself in deep trouble. The Test cricketer has been named in an FIR registered at Islamabad's Police Station for allegedly aiding in the rape and harassment of a 14-year-old girl. According to the FIR filed by the victim, Yasir's friend, Farhan, had allegedly raped the girl at gunpoint and harassed her.

The victim further alleged that when she approached Yasir on Whatsapp, the spinner made fun of her and said that he likes underage girls. The complainant further alleged that Yasir warned her of "dire consequences" if she approached the police.

The complainant added that when she approached the police, the cricketer proposed to buy her a flat and bear her expenses for the next 18 years.

"Yasir Shah said that he was a very influential person and that he knew a high-ranking official," she alleged.

Notably, Yasir was last seen during the Test series in West Indies earlier this year. He is currently out of the Test squad due to a thumb injury.

The off-spinner was likely to be part of the Pakistan squad for the Australia tour, which is scheduled to take place next year. It would be interesting to see what further action will be taken against the bowler and how PCB will respond.
