With the advancement of social media, it has become quite a norm for cricketers to wish each other on their birthdays on the public platform. Young players enjoy a huge fan following on their social media handles and at times, they are forced to keep posting content to keep the engagement going. A hilarious instance of the same was recently observed by fans when Pakistan speedster Naseem Shah made a birthday post for his teammate Shadab Khan.

The all-rounder recently celebrated his 23rd birthday on October 4, 2021, and many players wished him on social media. Naseem Shah was one of the cricketers who wished Shadab through a tweet that stated, “Wishing you a happy, healthy, exceptionally rocking birthday today and always. Keep shining! @76Shadabkhan.” While the caption was quite nice, it was the image that was attached with it that became the major talking point on the internet.

Did Naseem post a morphed image of Shadab Khan?

In the picture posted by Naseem, he can be seen with Shadab Khan in a selfie. However, something doesn’t look right with the image as Shadab’s face looks slightly edited. The netizens were very quick to point this out as they tried to unravel the mystery behind what looked like a photoshopped image.

As it turned out, fans did not take much time to find the original image, which allegedly looked like the source of Naseem’s post. The actual photo features Naseem with Shaheen Afridi, who is notably wearing the same hoodie as Shadab.

While everyone tried to join the dots, they came to the conclusion that Naseem would not be having a photo with Shadab so he morphed the all-rounder’s face on Shaheen Afridi’s face to post on social media.
