High-flying Islamabad United will be up against Peshawar Zalmi in an exciting fixture in the Pakistan Super League on Saturday. While United have started their campaign with fantastic back-to-back wins, Zalmi are coming to this match on the back of a sensational victory on Friday.
Shadab Khan’s side started their season with a win over Multan Sultans. However, they caught everyone by surprise after successfully chasing a mammoth target of 197 against the defending champions Karachi Kings. However, they have since bounced back in style after registering two brilliant wins over Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators. Sherfane Rutherford (36* off 18), Imam-ul-Haq (41 off 30) and Haider Ali (50 off 29) stole the show on Friday as Zalmi stunned everyone by successfully chasing a target of 199 against the Gladiators.
While the batting department looks settled for both the teams, the bowling could be a deciding factor in this high-voltage contest. Both United and Zalmi are playing some exhilarating cricket and we can expect a nerve-wracking match in Karachi on Saturday.
