Analysis:

After securing their first win of the season against the Qalandars, Multan Sultans returned to losing ways after failing to defend a total of 195 against Karachi Kings. All their batsmen chipped in with vital contributions as Rizwan (43), Lynn (32), Vince (45) and Maqsood (34*) guided Sultans to a mammoth total. However, the bowling department failed miserably as Kings chased the target comfortably with 7 deliveries to spare.

Quetta Gladiators have been utterly shambolic in the first few matches of Pakistan T20 League this season. They completed a hat-trick of losses after their defeat at the hands of Peshawar Zalmi on Friday. Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed led from the front and played a brilliant 81-run knock to power Gladiators to 198/7. But the bowling department failed to defend the total as Steyn, Hasnain, Shinwari and Cutting went for more than 10 RPO.

While Gladiators have a slight edge in head-to-head (3-2), Sultans were the winners in the last meeting between the two sides.
