The IPL 2022 Mega Auction means a re-start in many ways. Not only will two new teams begin their journey in the competition and have no previous burden which they carry in the 15th season of the competition, but the tournament will also see several new franchise-player associations being formed.

Over the years while fans have gotten used to associating Yuzvendra Chahal with the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the leg spinner now belongs to the Rajasthan Royals. The franchise-based at the Pink City of Jaipur was included in the team for Rs 6.5 crores.

Although there was always the possibility that Chahal would go to a new team after he was not retained by Bangalore, the latest social media post from his wife Dhanashree suggests that all might not have been well with him and the RCB management. However, all of it merely seems speculation at this stage and Chahal had himself said in a chat with Ravichandran Ashwin that while he won't mind playing for any team, getting back to RCB would be great.

Sharing a hilarious video, Dhanashree had a rather cryptic caption to go by with it. "So here’s a thing, CHANGE is definitely required in ones life for growth. It widens your capability & challenges you in the most unexpected ways. Congratulations to you Mr Royal @yuzi_chahal23 for joining @rajasthanroyals," she wrote in the opening sentences of the caption.

Here is the post:

"You’ve always been the most loyal, humble & a game changer in the previous team and it’s time to give more than your 100% to your new beginnings Your main color remains BLUE and I’m super proud that you always play for the team for the Country," she added.

"And now we have to strike the same balance by adding a shade of pink. Also remember that people around you know the truth and the actions taken," she further wrote.

"I will always wish the best for you as you deserve it but moreover cuz you’ve never compared both our professions and always fought for my rights when it comes to my work. You treat both our careers as equals. Thank you for being that man that the world is still somewhere seeking for. Sab acha hi hona hai ???," she concluded.
