Phoenix Force wins Free Fire World Series 2021 title in Singapore

Thailand’s Phoenix Force have been crowned as the champions in the the grand finale of the Free Fire World Series 2021. The global extravaganza was played at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore where the best 12 Free Fire teams battled it out for the ultimate glory. There were six matches that took place in the event which were spread across three major maps – Bermuda, Kalahari, Purgatory. The Force absolutely dominated the finals as they won four booyahs out of six matches played and clinched the prestigious trophy in addition to a whopping prize money of 3.6 crore INR.

Standings of the mega-event

The team from Thailand were at their absolute best in the finals as they ended the event with 65 points and 48 kills (Game score of 113), way ahead of Loud and Silence who finished second and third respectively. These are the final standings of the event:

Phoenix Force outplayed all their opponents

It was a dominant display by Phoenix Force as they started on the front foot, with three consecutive wins in matches played on three different maps. They had already distance themselves from the rest of the teams after three rounds as they had 64 points in the bag. HQ Esports did try to put up a show in the fourth and fifth matches as they claimed the Booyah. However, Phoenix Force were always among the points as they finished in top three in both the matches before winning the final match once again, completing an emphatic win. The Cruz from Team Phoenix bagged the MVP title with 23 frags to his name.
