Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar seems all geared up and ready ahead of the Road Safety World Series scheduled to commence later on Friday. Tendulkar will lead India Legends in the tournament scheduled to be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. The inaugural edition of the T20 competition had to be called off owing to Coronavirus outbreak.

Tendulkar took to social media to share how excited he is before returning to cricketing action and representing India Legends in the tournament, meant to promote Road Safety on Indian streets.

"Stepping on the field for India always gives me goosebumps. Looking forward to playing for our country, and spreading awareness about road safety through the #RoadSafetyWorldSeries," Tendulkar captioned a video clip from his training session. The Master Blaster was also seen digging out strokes from his endless arsenal like the sweep and the backfoot punch.

India Legends will be up against Bangladesh Legends in the tournament opener on Friday. Sachin will captain a team full of yesteryear legends comprising of the likes of Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Irfan Pathan and Pragyan Ojha among others.
