Scoring a ton at iconic cricket grounds of the world is one of the dreams of every batter. From England's Lord's to India's Wankhede, players always desire to cross the three-figure mark and get their names etched in history. Further, getting their names inscribed on the Honours Board of the prominent stadiums, for sure, makes the players' contribution immortal.

The most recent one to achieve the feat is India's Mayank Agarwal, who played a crucial role with his century followed by a fifty in the second and final Test of the series against New Zealand. Mayank not only won the player of the match award but also got his name on the Honour's Board of Wankhede Stadium. Happy to see his name on the board, the player took to social media to share an image of it with his name inscribed.

Mayank shared the special achievement saying, "This isn’t just a name on a board. This is all the hardwork culminating into something that goes beyond. Playing Test cricket and contributing to a win for your country is everything for someone who grew up worshipping the game. It’s an honour to be named alongside so many greats." Meanwhile, former England skipper and batter Kevin Pietersen was quick to notice that his name on the board was spelled incorrectly. Pietersen then jokingly requested Mayank to get his name corrected.

Notably, Pietersen's name was incorrectly spelled as 'Pieterson' on the Honours Board of Wankhede.

Here is the comment:

Meanwhile, with his amazing performance at the Wankhede Stadium to help India win the second Test against New Zealand, Mayank joined the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Alastair Cook and Kevin Pietersen who have got their names on the Honours Board of the iconic venue.

After India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first in the second Test against New Zealand, Agarwal played a sensational knock of 150 runs off 311 balls on the tough Wankhede pitch. When India batted for the second time in the game, the player continued his red-hot form and scored 62 off 108. The hosts won the game comfortably by 372 runs and thus sealed the series as the first match had ended in a draw.
