The wicketkeeper-batsman again was the talk of the town but this time for a negative reason. MSD, who is known for his mighty hitting, played a rather slow knock during Chennai Super Kings IPL 2021 match against Delhi Capitals which didn’t impress the netizens.
CSK were struggling at 62/4 when Dhoni came to the crease. Although the situation demanded a patient knock at that time, Twitterati were left frustrated when the skipper continued to play the waiting game at the death overs.
Dhoni scored 18 off 27 balls and didn’t hit a single boundary during his innings.
