The second Day of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 presented some high-intense action after an incredible opening day. Team Falcons vaulted up to the first position as they overtook Vampire Esports with 142 points in the overall standings.
Behind the Falcons, Stalwart Esports and Regan S Gaming are vying for the top spot as they are ranked second and third with 130, and 122 points respectively. The Indian representation in the tournament, Team SouL is placed 15th with 55 points.
This edition of PMWI is divided into two different sections - the Main Tournament with a prize pool of $2,000,000 and the Afterparty Showdown which has a prize pool of $1,000,000. The main tournament was held on 11 August, where 18 teams competed for the massive prize pool.
Team Falcons surged ahead to the top with consistent performances throughout the day. The team secured 44 finishes on the second day, as they took their tally to 68 finishes. They have a considerable lead of 12 points over the Stalwart ahead of Day 3.
The Chinese team RSG won the first chicken dinner with 11 eliminations to kick off the game of the day. The Istanbul-based team Stalwart Esports won the second match. Vivo Keyd emerged as the winner of the third match with patient gameplay.
In the fourth map, RSG registered the second win with aggressive gameplay as they clinched 12 kills. Damwon Gaming managed to secure their first chicken dinner with 10 kills of the day. Team Falcons defeated Damwon Gaming to register a 16-kill chicken dinner in the sixth match to jump up to the top spot after consistent performance throughout the day.
