Preview:

Arsenal will host Liverpool, who are all set to be deposed as the Premier League champions to their home at the Emirates Stadium, London as they fancy a chance to move to just one point behind the Jurgen Klopp's men this weekend. While the Reds form has continued to dip especially after the month of December, Arsenal have only been improving since then and could well be one of the title contenders for the next season if they continue to improve like this. All in all, this looks set to be a thrilling football clash.

Team News

Arsenal:

For Mikel Arteta, there are a few injury concerns ahead of the all-important clash. While Bukayo Saka is yet to begin training with the team, Willian may be available for the match against the Reds. In addition, Emile Smith Rowe seems doubtful for the clash.

Liverpool:

Klopp is currently without the services of Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip. In addition, the likes of Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Caoimhin Kelleher will undergo late fitness tests before a final call on their selection is taken.

Key Players:

Analysis:

Although Liverpool have not been able to repeat their superb performance of last season, they are beginning to look more like themselves after a disastrous run. Successive wins over RB Leipzig and Wolves should give them the confidence which could have been hampered following a string of poor outings, especially at Anfield. However, with Jota and Salah both in fine form, the Reds can take the three points in this match.

However, Arsenal will take heart from the fact that the Reds have won just once in the last four matches between them. Even last season the Gunners had won 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium and there is every reason to believe they can do it again.
