Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is all set for its 8th season this year, much to the excitement of all fans. There has been a long wait since the last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic but one of the most entertaining sports leagues is all set to return. However, before the actual action on the Kabaddi mats, the focus will be on the team management of all sides who will compete against each other in the auctions, to form a championship-winning squad.

All the 12 teams have announced the list of players they are retaining ahead of the auctions. As many as 59 players have been retained across all 3 categories which includes:
- 22 players in the Elite Retained Players (ERP) category
- 6 players in the Retained Young Players (RYP) category
- 31 players in the New Young Players (NYP) category
All the non-retained players and other squad members from last two editions of PKL will go under the hammer from August 29-31 in what is going to be a thrilling three days in Mumbai.
