Gujarat Giants are all set to begin their new season with a clash against the Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield in Bengaluru on December 23. This is also set to be the curtain raiser of the tournament and expect nothing less than a cliffhanger of a game between two top sides. The action is set to commence at 7:30 pm (IST). The team is owned by Adani Group based out of Ahmedabad. The team has previously finished as the runners-up in 2017 and 2018, losing to Patna Pirates and Bengaluru Bulls respectively in the summit clash.

In 2019 though, they did not have the best of outings and would be eager to make amends when they play the new season from December 23 onwards. They have a good bunch of players this time around in their pool and the likes of Pardeep Kumar, Manninder Singh, Sunil Kumar, Hadi Oshtorak and Girish Maruti Ernak could have a huge role to play if the team wants to all the way this season.
The team is led by defender Sunil Kumar while Manpreet Singh and Neer Gulia comprise its coaching staff.
