Pakistan Super League Preview: Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars

Match Details:

Date: 28 February 2021

Time: 7:30 pm (IST)

Venue: National Stadium, Karachi

Preview:

Karachi Kings will face Lahore Qalandars in match number 11 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) this Sunday, in what can be looked as a rematch between the last year's finalists. The much-anticipated match will be staged at the National Stadium, Karachi.

Karachi Kings have managed to taste win in one of their two games in the current season and will head into this match after playing a game against Multan Sultans on Saturday. Karachi seem to have more or less a settled batting unit and with the likes of Daniel Christian, Mohammad Nabi and Babar Azam in the side, they are more than capable of posting big runs on the board.

The area of concern for the Kings will be their bowling performance as they failed to defend a target of 196 as Islamabad finished off the run-chase with five balls to spare in their previous match.

On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars, who won their opening two matches but faced a defeat in their previous outing against the Multan Sultans. Despite a great start to the season, neither their batting nor their bowling seems to have clicked against the Multan side. While they only scored 157 runs runs in their 20 overs with Mohammad Hafeez impressing yet again, their opponents chased it down in the 17th over itself and lost only 3 wickets in the process.

Lahore would be itching to make a comeback against Karachi Kings who too will not want to lose the momentum early on in the tournament in what is expected to be a thrilling game.
