PUMA sends shoes for Ryan Burl and his Zimbabwe teammates, fulfills their promise in one day

The whole episode started when the 27-year-old had posted a heartbreaking tweet of his ripped shoes, asking for sponsorship to help them. The world of cricket got a glimpse of the harsh reality that the Zimbabwe cricketers are facing with their board not financially stable.

As the tweet was shared by number of fans, it got viral and eventually caught the attention of a company who could make a difference - PUMA. The German company was very quick to come ahead and help the cricketer as it replied to Burl, "Time to put the glue away, I got you covered." While the fans praised the multinational for its actions, some of them wondered when would the promise be fulfilled.

Express shipment for Zimbabwe cricketers

All the doubts were put to rest by PUMA as they revealed that they have already shipped the shoes on Monday. Interestingly, the company is not only sending the shoes for Ryan Burl only. Instead, they have arranged the same for all his teammates, making it a truly heartwarming gesture. The photo of the shoes that was shared by the company look absolutely amazing with red and yellow shades, that are the colours of Zimbabwe's national team jersey. Even, Indian cricketer KL Rahul expressed his delight with PUMA's fast response.

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj  Singh, who has been associated with PUMA for quite a long time, also had words of praise for his team for such an incredible act. Ryan Burl also stated that he feels amazing to join the famous sports brand. The 27-year-old would also hope to produce performances like the all-rounder on the field and take Zimbabwe Cricket to a positive direction in future.
