As Team India produced a heroic comeback against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI to complete an emphatic series win, the whole nation has been heaping praises on the young Men in Blue side. The experienced trio of head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Shikhar Dhawan and vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been the key components of this second-string Indian side and have played their roles as leaders to perfection.

Rahul Dravid has had a lot of positive impact on the youngsters and has been able to extract the best out of them in this series so far. The atmosphere in the dressing room looks absolutely electric which is just a reflection of how well the management has been on and off the field. On the other hand, Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar have done complete justice to their roles as captain and vice-captain respectively and have led their troops on the field from the front. While Dhawan played a match-winning knock (86* off 95) in the 1st ODI, Bhuvneshwar put on an all-round show (3/54 and 19* off 28) in the 2nd ODI.

India's experienced trio enjoying together

There is no doubt that Dravid, Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar have had a huge impact on the young Indian group on the field. However, it seems like the bonding between the experienced campaigners goes way beyond the field of cricket as the trio was spotted enjoying a celebratory dinner together in Colombo.

They were also joined by Bhuvneshwar Kumar's wife Nupur Nagar and team's physiotherapist Ashish Kaushik. Shikhar Dhawan shared the picture of the five of them enjoying a good time at the dinner table with a caption, "Beautiful night with amazing company ?"

Will the trio come up with different strategy for last ODI?

Considering the fact that the Indian side have already clinched the 3-match ODI series, it is very likely that the coach, captain and vice-captain might be thinking about the possibility of trying out a few new players in the 3rd ODI. The Men in Blue did not make any changes in their playing XI for the previous match but with the series now done and dusted, the management would want to give an opportunity to few of the players sitting on the bench.
