Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) on Thursday announced a 21-member squad for Ranji Trophy, which is starting from February 10th. Players will report at RCA Academy Jaipur on 5th February 2022 for their team camp and will stay in bio-bubble throughout the tournament.

However, what caught the eye in RCA's press release was the mention of Mahipal Lomror as Vice President instead of Vice-Captain. While Ashok Menaria has been appointed as skipper and will lead the side in the domestic tournament, Lomror is set to be his deputy. However, RCA did a little blunder and mentioned Lomror as the Vice-President of the team.

Meanwhile, Deepak Hooda has been also included in the squad. Notably, the all-rounder has been named in India's ODI squad for the series against West Indies, which is starting from February 10. With the COVID-19 cases inside the camp, Deepak Hooda might make his debut for the Men in Blue.

Notably, BCCI have added Mayank Agarwal and Ishan Kishan in the ODI squad after 3 players - Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, and Ruturaj Gaikwad tested positive for COVID-19.
