The Indian Premier League (IPL) is not only time for some high-intensity cricketing action but it also gives an opportunity to players and members of the cricket fraternity to form new bonds and relationships. Some of the known cricketing friendships in the world- the camaraderie of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and the bond of Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya- arose after they shared a dressing room for their respective IPL franchises.

This year after the mega auctions, there has been a reshuffling and new friends and bonds are being made. However, seems like Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is not liking the company of his teammate Riyan Parag.

He took to social media to announce that he will no longer bowl to Parag at the nets and attached a video of Parag almost taking his head off through a shot hit with great power straight off his bowling. The shot seems to have hit on Neesham on his forehead.

Having said that, the announcement seems to be a joke and is evidence of the tongue-pulling and cheeky comments that cricketers indulge in while staying together while competing in IPL.

The Rajasthan Royals have won 2 out of their 3 games in IPL 2022 so far and are looking like a strong unit this season under Sanju Samson. Jos Buttler has been in great form for them at the top of the order but it is their bowling unit that has given them an edge over some of the other teams this year.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult are the leading wicket-takers for the team so far, having scalped 7 and 5 wickets respectively from 3 games. In addition, they have the likes of Prasidh Krishna, Navdeep Saini and Ravichandran Ashwin in their team.
