Kolkata Knight Riders totally blew away Rajasthan Royals in the sides' last league game of IPL 2021. By doing so KKR have eliminated the chances of PBKS and MI entering the playoffs this season. Initially winning the toss RR invited KKR to bat on a tough Sharjah surface but they posted a very good total of 171/4 with the help of classy knock from Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer.

RR in the chase had no answers for KKR's fiery spell and they ended up getting all out for 85 runs without a fight. Only Rahul Tewatia played some good cricketing shots around the ground, as rest of them (except Shivam Dube) in the lineup failed to even reach double figure mark. Rajasthan recorded second consecutive poor performance in IPL 2021 before getting eliminated in a very humilating fashion by reducing their NRR to -0.993.
