Indian Premier League (IPL) is the buzzword this season. With India's last international series before the start of the tournament done and dusted, all eyes have moved towards IPL. The past few days have already been full of announcements by the various franchises, with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) announcing Faf du Plessis as their captain and the star-studded team unveiling their jersey.

Even Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and more recently Gujarat Titans launched their jerseys and now Rajasthan Royals have joined the list of franchises to have unveiled their jersey. The first look of their jersey has surfaced on the internet. The franchise took to social media to make the announcement.

The announcement video features Red Bull athlete Robbie Maddison who could be seen handing over the team's jersey to captain Sanju Samson after performing stunts on his motorbike. The 4 minute 23-second long video also features leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The franchise had earlier announced the appointment of Lasith Malinga as their new fast bowling coach. In addition, the team will have the services of Paddy Upton as the Team Catalyst.

"It’s a wonderful feeling for me to return to the IPL and an absolute honour to join Rajasthan Royals, a franchise that has always promoted and developed young talent. I am excited by the pace bowling unit we have going into the tournament and looking forward to supporting all the fast bowlers with the execution of their game plans and their overall development," Malinga said of his appointment.

"I’ve made some very special memories in the IPL with Mumbai Indians and now with Royals, looking forward to new experiences and creating great memories in this journey," he added
