Sakariya used IPL 2021 salary for treatment of father

Sakariya opened up about using his IPL 2021 salary for the medical treatment of his father.

“I was lucky because I had received my part payment from Rajasthan Royals a few days ago. I straight away transferred money back home, and that is helping my family the most in my toughest time as I am the only earner in family,” Sakariya said while expressing gratitude to Rajasthan Royals. Sakariya had rushed to hospital to see his dad after IPL 2021 was suspended.

Few months ago, Chetan Sakariya's brother had also passed away after he committed suicide. This season, Sakariya impressed massively and picked 7 wickets in 7 matches at a decent economy of 8.22 for Rajasthan Royals.
