India's freestyle wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya has assured the country of yet another medal at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Despite being 9-2 down with the time running up, he defeated Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev on victory by fall. He had earlier defended his Asian Championship title in the 57kg weight division during the Asian Wrestling Championships.

On his way to the semis in the Asian Championship, Dahiya had registered an easy 9-2 win in his quarterfinal bout against Nodirojn Safarov of Uzbekistan before a dominant 11-0 win over Ali Aburumaila of Palestine in the semis.
