India after a resounding victory on Centurion will play the 2nd Test match at Johannesburg with the aim of sealing the Test series for the first time on South African soil. South Africa have faced another setback before the start of the 2nd Test match as Quinton de Kock has announced his retirement just after the 2021 boxing day match. Since 2018, the Indian pace bowling attack is on a different level in overseas conditions which has helped them to win a lot of Test matches in tough SENA countries. South Africa need a batsman like Bavuma, Elgar to step up to counter the pace attack of India and provide a competitive game for team India. India will start as clear favourites ahead of the 2nd Test match against South Africa but will be interesting to see if the Proteas side can put any pressure on the Indian side (or) not.
