The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League is just a few days away and four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play the tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26. Although Chennai have an able leader in MS Dhoni for this season and he has successfully led the team for years, CSK management will be looking for their future captain in this season.

Dhoni himself talked about forming a core for the next ten years at the IPL 2021 finals and hence the management has already started searching for MSD's successor. Many names have surfaced up for future captain of CSK. Now, Suresh Raina has also listed a few names that can take up the captaincy baton from MS Dhoni for next editions.

Raina named Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, and Dwayne Bravo as possible captain for CSK. "Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa and Dwayne Bravo can lead the side. They are capable, know the game very well and can be a successor for MS Dhoni," Raina said in a press conference organized by Star Sports, the official broadcaster of IPL 2022.

I am prepared for this: Raina on commentary debut

After not being bought by any franchise at the IPL 2022 mega auction, Raina is all set to make his commentary debut this IPL season. The Uttar Pradesh cricketer has said that he is prepared for this and will take some tips from his friends who are already in the box. "I am prepared for this. Some of my friends Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla are already doing commentary. And then we will have Ravi Bhai (Shastri) also in this season. So I think it's going to be easy for me. I can take tips from my friends," he said.

Notably, Ravi Shastri is also returning to commentary after a long time.
