Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is one of the finest Indian all-rounders. The 33-year-old had a horrific IPL 2022 stint as a series of events affected his performance and eventually, he was ruled out of the tournament after sustaining an injury. Days before the start of IPL 2022, Jadeja was named the captain of the team with MS Dhoni stepping down.

However, Jadeja's appointment did not work well for the franchise as the defending champions suffered a series of losses in the first leg of the tournament and found themselves struggling at the bottom of the points table. Chennai's horrific results largely impacted skipper Jadeja's individual performance as he looked out of touch throughout the league.

Much to everyone's surprise, Jadeja stepped down from the captaincy midway through the league and the baton was once again back to MS Dhoni. While the transition followed Jadeja being ruled out of the remainder of the tournament due to injury concerns, reports claimed that the former CSK skipper was unhappy with the way things panned out under the Chennai management.

In a recent development, the Chennai all-rounder has removed all posts related to Chennai Super Kings (CSK)'s IPL 2021 and 2022 campaigns from his Instagram account. Ever since this has come to the notice of the netizens, several cricket fans have started speculating brewing rift between Ravindra Jadeja and the franchise as well as its captain MSD.

Recently Jadeja played a magnificent knock in the rescheduled fifth Test match against England and scored his maiden century on foreign turf. After scoring a valiant century at Edgbaston, Jadeja commented on his performance in IPL 2022 and stated that he never thinks of anything else when he plays for team India. "What happened, happened. IPL was not on my mind. Whenever you are playing for India, your entire focus needs to be on the Indian team. It was the same for me," he told reporters in England.

It would be interesting to see what's in store for CSK and Jadeja in the coming season.
