RCB defeated MI by a convincing margin of 54 runs with the help of strong all-round performance from Glenn Maxwell and terrific bowling spell from Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel. Initially MI inivited RCB to bat first after winning the toss and they posted a good total of 165/6 with fifty-plus scores from Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell.
