Rishabh Pant becomes only second Asian player to score two Test hundreds vs England

In the ongoing 4th Test match between India and England, Rishabh Pant brought his first Test hundred at home in style with six. While doing so he has achieved some of the records as a wicket-keeper batsman.

6: Rishabh Pant became only the 6th wicket-keeper to have scored more than one Test century vs England

2: Rishabh Pant became only the 2nd Asian wicket-keeper after Budhi Kunderan (1964) to have scored more than one Test century against England 

3: Rishabh Pant with 3 Test centuries has equalled Wriddhiman Saha’s record and is currently behind only MS Dhoni (6 Test centuries) among Indian wicket-keepers

Before today, Rishabh Pant has scored a century against England during 2018 in a losing cause at the Kennington Oval in London in his debut Test series. Rishabh Pant has 1358 Test runs from just 33 innings at an impressive batting average of 45.27. 

Pant has amassed 270 runs from 6 innings in this series and is currently the 3rd highest behind India opener Rohit Sharma and England skipper Joe Root.
