After losing the ICC World Test Championship final to New Zealand, the Indian cricket team has been handed a 20-day break before they reassemble to prepare for the five-match Test series against England. While Rohit Sharma and family were seen at an amusement park in the United Kingdom, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen enjoying a breakfast together in their latest social media picture.

However, Rishabh Pant does not want to take an off from the sporting high as of now. While he was on a break from cricket preparation, he decided to watch a bit of football in the UK. Pant shared a picture of himself from the crowd and captioned it, “Good experience watching ⚽️.” Notably, the southpaw had gone to witness the high voltage Euro 2020 clash between England and Germany at the Wembley Stadium, London.

England defeated Germany 2-0 in the crucial Round of 16 clash to move further in the tournament. While Raheem Sterling continued his goal-scoring form to put the Three Lions in the driver's seat in the 75th minute, captain Harry Kane added another goal in the 86th minute to ensure a comfortable win in the end.

The victory is their second-ever in the knockouts of the European Championship with their last win coming on penalties against Spain at Euro 1996 before they were denied a place in the final by Germany in the shootout.
