Ryan Parag was the lone warrior for the Rajasthan Royals as his fighting unbeaten knock of 56 powered Rajasthan Royals to a respectable 144. However, the stunning innings by the youngster ended on a sour note as the all-rounder got indulged in an altercation with the RCB bowler Harshal Patel. Notably, Parag hit 18 runs off the final over, which was bowled by Patel.

In response to Rajasthan's 144, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis opened the innings for Bangalore. The whole cricket fraternity was eagerly waiting for Kohli to change his fortunes with the change in batting position. But Kohli carried on his disappointing form and got dismissed on 9 runs. Kohli's dismissal brought the onus on Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar to steady Bangalore's innings.

But soon, Kuldeep Sen's brilliance in the 7th over spoiled Du Plessis' plan as his shot in the second ball found the fielder in the form of Jos Buttler at the cover. Sen didn't stop there but was right on the money in the next delivery as he dismissed dangerous Glenn Maxwell, who was caught by Padikkal at slip. Kuldeep's back-to-back wickets put Bangalore on the backfoot.
