Gujarat Titans thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the Qualifier 1 on Tuesday evening and sealed their spot in the final of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. Rajasthan Royals scored 188 for six after being asked to bat first. In the second innings, Hardik Pandya (40 off 27) and David Miller (68 off 38) stitched an unbeaten 101-run partnership to complete the chase with three balls to spare.

In an interesting turn of events, the Royals' young batter Riyan Parag's attitude drew a lot of attention during the game. After he got involved in an unfortunate run-out following a mix up with R Ashwin and expressed his disgust with the senior teammate in the team, Parag was spotted yelling at Devdutt Padikkal for not being active on the field. In the 16th over of the LSG chase, it all happened when David Miller smashed a Trent Boult yorker towards wide long-on.

Parag, standing at long-on, quickly covered the gap, dived, and stopped the ball from reaching the boundary. While getting up, Parag was seen shouting at Padikkal, who was placed at the deep mid-wicket for not backing.

Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav was highly impressed with Parag's attitude and expressed the same on social media platforms. Taking to Twitter, Suryakumar wrote, "Amazing attitude on the field."

While Mumbai Indians batter posted an appreciation tweet, it received backlash from social media users as many suggested Suryakumar not to motivate such a disrespectful attitude of a youngster. Many even requested Mumbai Indians batter to take down his tweet.
