India sealed the series by 2-0 margin with a comfortable 7 wicket win against New Zealand in 2nd T20I. After winning the toss, India invited New Zealand to bat first and restricted them to a below-par total of 153/6. Initially, New Zealand batters had a very good start as Martin Guptill showed aggressive intent right from 1st ball of the match. But, post the 10 over mark, remaining Kiwi batsman failed to continue the good momentum set by their opening pair. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul's 117-run partnership ensured a convincing win for India. Tim Southee was the only New Zealand bowler to pick up few wickets for his side in this game.
