The IND vs WI 3rd ODI turned out to be a great day for Rohit Sharma and Co. as the side put up a formidable all-round show in Ahmedabad on Friday. With series already won, the Men in Blue made four changes in the playing XI from last match and most of them grabbed their opportunity with both hands.

Although Dhawan was out cheaply, Shreyas Iyer impressed with a brilliant 80-run knock while Deepak Chahar made valuable contributions, with both bat and ball. However, there was one player who had quite a mixed outing on the day, who was none other than comeback man Kuldeep Yadav.

The left-arm spinner, who returned to the national set-up for IND vs WI ODI series after a 6-month lay-off due to injury, got off to an exceptional start. Kuldeep weaved his magic as he bamboozled the opposition batsmen as he dismissed Nicholas Pooran.

However, his fortunes changed after that! Odean Smith, the power-hitter, launched a counter-attack on Kuldeep and smashed him all over the park. The spinner lost his confidence and as he came under pressure, he bowled a 109 kph delivery in order to save himself from getting hit for another six. But this approach did not go down well with captain Rohit Sharma.

Hitman, who was constantly motivating the spinner from slips, was presumably unhappy to see Kuldeep using a quick get-away delivery instead of trying to take a wicket. Team India's captain lashed out at the bowler and warned him that he will take him out of attack if he bowls like that. “Agar aisa daalna hai toh main nahi dalvaunga yaar tere ko,” an angry Rohit said.

However, it was just a warning by Rohit and he did not mean it as he kept Kuldeep in the attack for a couple of more overs. At the time of writing, Kuldeep had bowled 8 overs in the match, taking 2 wickets while conceding 51 runs.
