Rohit Sharma has become a huge name in the Indian cricket. Not only has he grown in stature as a limited-overs player, his performances in red-ball cricket is also improving with some sensing a big hundred in overseas conditions is just around the corner for the Hitman after he seemed to be getting good starts but then getting out in his last couple of outings.

Moreover, every time Virat Kohli fails as a captain, there is a debate that Rohit should be named the skipper at least in white-ball cricket to relieve Kohli of some burden. This is because Rohit has a fantastic record as a captain in IPL history in contrast to Kohli who hasn’t won anything in IPL and is yet to open the account as far as multi-nation tournaments are concerned.
