Rohit Sharma has had a tough time lately after he was ruled out of the highly-anticipated Test series against South Africa. But the opener is making the most of the time he is spending at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, where he started his rehabilitation on Friday. Rohit will be aiming to regain his fitness before the start of the ODI series.

On Friday afternoon, BCCI shared a picture of Rohit sharing some 'priceless' cricketing lessons and tricks and traits with Indian U-19 players, who are also currently at NCA to prepare for the upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled to take place from Dec 23 in UAE.

The BCCI captioned the post, "Priceless lessons ? ? ? ?. #TeamIndia white-ball captain @ImRo45 made most of his rehab time as he addressed India’s U19 team during their preparatory camp at the NCA in Bengaluru."

Meanwhile, Rohit also shared the picture on Instagram and captioned, "Nice speaking to the future of Indian cricket…"

Notably, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have been spending time at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to regain their fitness and in order to join the team for ODIs. Rohit Sharma is expected to lead the team in ODIs as a full time skipper.

Some days back, it was reported that Rohit Sharma had sustained a left hamstring injury during his training session in Mumbai and as a result, he was ruled out of the Test series. India A skipper Priyank Panchal then joined the Indian team as Rohit's replacement.

Following his inclusion in the team, Panchal wrote on Twitter, "Thank you, everyone, for all your good wishes. Honored to be donning the team India jersey. Thank you for showing faith in me, BCCI. Looking forward to the series!"

Speaking about the tour, team India is scheduled to play three Tests and as many as ODIs in South Africa. Virat Kohli will be leading the side in red ball format whereas, Rohit Sharma is expected to lead the team, but only if he is announced fit.
