New Zealand just after playing T20 World Cup final in Dubai a few days back, will be playing 1st T20I match against India in Jaipur. India after not so great campaign in T20 WC will be playing with a new rejuvenated side under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy with Rahul Dravid as head coach.
Last time when these two sides played against each other in a T20I bilateral series, India ended up winning by a margin of 5-0 on New Zealand soil. Also last time when New Zealand came to India for a T20I series, India ended up defeating New Zealand by 2-1 margin.
It would be interesting to see how the series pans out for India after suffering a 8-wicket loss to New Zealand in the T20 WC 2021 as that loss ensured India getting eliminated from group stage of 2021 T20 WC itself.
