In a significant development from the wrestling world, Roman Reigns reportedly may not feature in next month's Hell in a Cell show as Cody Rhodes has replaced him in the official poster. A recent report has suggested that The Tribal Chief would not be part of WWE's Hell in a Cell show, but he will feature in other events during the summer. Reigns will also not be involved in house shows and have also not been advertised for some episodes of SamckDown.

However, the original poster for Hell in a Cell featured Reign in the forefront, but Cody Rhodes has now replaced him. The other superstars in the poster are Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Edge, who are still present after the update.

Notably, Hell in a Cell will be the sixth Premium Live Event 2022, following the recently concluded WrestleMania Backlash.

As per Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Roman Reigns is not gonna be on every pay-per-view. "He's off the Chicago show [Hell In A Cell], the next pay-per-view on June 5th. He will be doing pay-per-views this summer. He will do TVs to build up those shows, so it's not like he's not gonna be on TV. But he's not going to be doing many dates, and from what I understand," he was reportedly quoted.

Reports have further claimed that Reigns has recently signed a new deal with the company where he will perform on fewer dates. The situation is like that he got a new deal, and the new deal bounds him for far lesser dates than he is doing right now.

Although it's not clear how many houses show he will be going to do, it would be surely less than the number he is doing right now. The Tribal Chief is reportedly advertised to appear at the next two Premium Live Events after Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.

Reigns hold both the top men's titles, the WWE Championship and Universal Championship, but he didn't defend either title at the WrestleMania Backlash.
