Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will be replacing Rashid Khan in the Lahore Qalandars squad for the rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) tournament. Rashid Khan had to leave the Qalandars squad for his international commitments. In his presence, Lahore were on a dream-run as they won the first couple of games of PSL 2021 against Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.

But Lahore lost their last game in the absence of Rashid Khan against Multan Sultans. The pitch at Karachi is favouring spin and thus roped in Lamichhane. The spinner had previously represented Lahore in seven games in the 2019 edition of Pakistan Super League.
