Sandeep Narwal remains unsold in the Pro Kabaddi League Player Auction. Narwal was in the all-rounder's category and was priced at ₹30 lakhs base price. In the 2021 season, he played for Dabang Delhi KC and played 24 matches.

Sandeep Narwal has been one of the first Kabbadi superstars as he burst onto the scene with a dominant performance in the inaugural season of the PKL. Ever since then he showed off his all-prowess every time he has been part of it.

Last year, he was one of the most impactful players in the season as he played a key role in helping Delhi win the tournament. The all-rounder scored 64 points in 24 matches and had some incredible performances in both attack and defence.

While talking about the team's mentality, he addressed how every player came together to lift the title. He said, “Our team has played with a sense of unity. The experienced players and the young players combined well. People did not expect Dabang Delhi to make such an impact. Every player gave his 100% whenever required and this is the reason the team enjoyed success.”

Narwal then talked about how Dabang Delhi dealt with the loss of Naveen Kumar due to injury as he was one of the most important players on the team. He also talked about he was fine with taking the offensive responsibilities as he had past experience of raiding.

He said, “I did not have to prepare a lot because I have done a lot of raiding in the past. I was given the trust and I performed according to the planning of the coach. I like raiding and it is tougher than defence. You have to steal points, while in defence players come to your area. Whenever I go to make a raid, the focus is on being more speedy. I also like getting points with a running bonus.”

Sandeep also talked about his mentality entering any fixture and said, “When you step on the floor for a match, thoughts like ‘what will the other player do’ does not come into the mind. If we focus too much on what the other player will do, it will be hard to perform.”
