In a recent development, Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) has announced the commentary panel for the upcoming limited-overs series between Sri Lanka and India. The official broadcaster for the series revealed that all the matches will be live-telecasted in India in four languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The live studio show in English will be presented by former players like Sanjay Manjrekar, Ajit Agarkar, and Ajay Jadeja along with Matt Floyd.

Further, the Hindi studio show will also be presented by former cricketers namely, Mohammad Kaif, Vivek Razdan, Amit Mishra, Saba Karim along with Arjun Pandit. Meanwhile, the Tamil commentary box will feature Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, WV Raman, Vidhyut Sivaramakrishnan, T Arasu, and S Seshadri while the Telugu commentary will be presented by Venkatapathy Raju, Gnaneshwar Rao, C Venkatesh, RJ Hemanth, Sandeep Kumar, and Vijay Mahavadi.

Sony Ten 1 and Sony Six channels will be broadcasted in English, while Sony Ten 3 will be in Hindi. Further, Sony Ten 4 channel will be aired in Tamil and Telugu from 1.30 pm onwards. The bilateral series between the two neighboring nations will feature three ODIs and three T20 matches. The young Indian team will be led by veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan while Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the vice-captain.

Team India head coach for the Sri Lanka tour, Rahul Dravid, expressed that it’s an exciting opportunity for him to learn and improve as a coach. Speaking at a press conference before the team’s departure to Sri Lanka, Dravid said, " We have to be together as a large group, there are opportunities to learn and grow. As a coach, you’re always learning from every experience. You learn about yourself and about cricket. It’s another opportunity for me to learn and improve. I’m quite excited.”
