Rajasthan Royals are all set to take on Gujarat Titans in the summit clash of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday evening. Royals thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore in Qualifier 2 to seal their berth in the final.

Under the leadership of Sanju Samson, Royals emerged as a formidable challenge for opponents and performed exceptionally well to seal the deal for the final contest. Hours before the highly-anticipated match, Sanju Samson’s wife Charulatha has taken a dig at the official broadcasters of the IPL by sharing a snapshot from an animation series which showed the contenders for the season before the start of the IPL 2022.

The animation had Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and others except for Sanju Samson. She shared the snapshot on her Instagram story and wrote, “Saw this animated video showing the race for IPL 2022 on the first day of IPL. And wondered why there wasn’t any pink jersey.” As per the timing of the story, it is a clear indication that Charulatha seems to be miffed with the broadcaster for underestimating Rajasthan Royals before the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Sanju Samson-led side has been in terrific form throughout the competition and won 9 out of 14 games in the league stage. Royals batter Jos Buttler has been in great form in the league as he has already hit four centuries, including one in a knock-out game against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Buttler has amassed 824 runs in 16 games, including four tons and four half-centuries. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson has performed well with the bat as he has scored 444-runs in 16 games with a strike rate of 147.50. Royals skipper is amongst the top-ten run-getters in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.
