Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is often in news for his on-field behaviour. Cricket experts and former Pak cricketers have also expressed displeasure about the same whenever there has been an opportunity. Salman Butt also talked about Sarfaraz's behaviour in a PSL game against Peshawar Zalmi where the Gladiator's captain was seen making animated gestures on multiple occasions.

Butt uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he questioned Sarfaraz's on-field behaviour. The former Pak speedster also pointed out that this behaviour of Sarfaraz is not helping him anyway and is only affecting what people think of him. While Butt's comments seemed somehow relatable as there have been instances where Sarfaraz has been caught in heated arguments with his teammates, Sarfaraz Ahmed did not like it at all.

The Quetta Gladiators captain burst out his anger on Twitter and called Salman a 'fixer'. Although he did not mention Salman's name, it was quite evident that the Tweet was directed at Butt. "Pakistan ko on duty beachne wala fixer jub niyat pe bhashan dega phir to Allah he Hafiz hai (When a fixer who sold Pakistan on duty gives speech on intention, then God can only save us)," wrote Sarfaraz on Twitter.

What had Salman Butt said?

In an almost 2-minuted long video, while answering a viewer's question on Sarfaraz's on-field behaviour against Peshawar Zalmi, Butt had said, "Whatever he is doing, it is not helping in the opinion people have about him. It only attracts criticism. The way he reacts, the way he talks.

"In fact, he doesn't talk but shouts. He doesn't discuss but imposes his decision. In the second last game, Naseem Shah was pleading to him with folded hands to place a fielder, but he said that he wants to keep him. So, you can't do that all the time with everybody. And if he thinks he is that big, then he should answer. They (Quetta Gladiators) lost last year as well. The team is also formed on your (Sarfaraz) suggestions. You have been the captain since the start of the PSL.

"So, by doing all this, he is only creating troubles for himself. He should rather concentrate on himself and focus on his own performances," said Salman Butt.

Notably, Quetta Gladiators have not got the best of the starts in the seventh edition of the PSL. They have lost two of the three games they have played. Above all, Sarfaraz's performance have not been up to the mark as he scored only 37 runs in two innings so far.
