The Formula One 2021 season is entering the final phase and it’s now time for the penultimate race of this year. The action now shifts to Middle East with the inaugural edition of Saudi Arabian GP taking place in Jeddah. Notably, it will be the 5th full night race of season after Singapore, Bahrain, Sakhir and Qatar GPs.
“Jeddah is probably the biggest unknown we face all year… with the track being completed very close to the race,” said Pirelli Head of F1. The excitement and unpredictability around the race is something that is creating all the buzz and with the championship hanging by a thread, it’s all set up perfectly for a thrilling weekend in Jeddah.
What is the venue for race?
The Saudi Arabian GP 2021 will be held at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. It is a 6.174 km long track and is set to have 50 laps during the race. It has been termed as the ‘fastest street track’ on F1 calendar with cars likely to have an average speed of around 250 km/h.
