On Sunday morning, India batswoman Harmanpreet Kaur took to Instagram to give a glimpse of the jersey which India Women’s team will wear when they take the field during the highly anticipated Test against England. She unveiled the Test jersey by sharing a photo on her Instagram story.

The Indian women cricketers are in quarantine ahead of the UK tour. The India women's cricket team is scheduled to tour England for a one-off Test match against the England women's team that will be followed by three One Day Internationals and three T20Is from 16 June to 15 July 2021. Veteran Mithali Raj will be leading the Indian team in the Test match and the ODI series while Harmanpreet Kaur will be captaining the side in the T20 Internationals. Meanwhile, the Indian women's team will be competing in the longest format of the game for the first time in almost seven years. Indian team last played a Test match in November 2014, against South Africa.

Earlier, BCCI had shared women cricketers' training video ahead of England tour wherein the women in blue can seen training hard in the gym. Harmanpreet Kaur, Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Shafali Varma, Jemimah Rodrigues, amongst others were seen training in the gym with multiple equipments. The women's team is currently in the bio-bubble in Mumbai and will be leaving for the England tour with Virat Kohli's men on June 2.

India women get first jab of COVID-19 vaccine, next one to be given in UK

Indian women cricketers' first dose of COVID-19 vaccination is completed and they will be receiving their second jab after landing in UK. Currently undergoing quarantine in Mumbai, those members of the contingent who were yet to get the first dose have already received the jab. The women's team are scheduled to fly alongside Virat Kohli & Co on June 2.
