The inaugural edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC) is all set to start from January 20. More than 30 retired international cricketers from the past will be a part of the action in Al Amerat in Oman. There will be a total of 7 matches played over a period of 9 days, wherein the three teams will compete for the top prize. In the opening game of the tournament, India Maharajas and Asia Lions will lock horns with each other.

Meanwhile, ahead of the highly-anticipated tournament opener, all the players from the three sides came together in the Opening Ceremony of Legends League Cricket 2022. The veteran cricketers were seen interacting with each other in the ceremony. Famous cricketers like Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, former Team India head coach Ravi Shastri, Wasim Jaffer, Hemang Badani, Irfan Pathan, Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh were all seen having a good time at the ceremony.

"I am actually looking forward to see Wasim Jaffer and Hemang Badani bat," former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan was seen saying in the video.
