Chennai Super Kings is one of those franchises who began their preparations for the upcoming season of IPL way earlier than others. After a disappointing campaign last season, MS Dhoni-led side is leaving no stones unturned to return to their usual best in 2021. Few of the players, including the skipper, have been sweating it out for past few days in the ongoing camp in Chennai.

Chinna Thala all set to join MSD and Co.

CSK fans would be delighted to know that Suresh Raina will also be joining the CSK camp very soon. The southpaw, who unfortunately missed the last season, is all geared up for IPL 2021. He has been training for the last few days in Ghaziabad and has been regularly updating his fans about the same through his social media account. The 34-year-old posted a workout video on Monday and revealed that it was his last session before joining the team.

On the post, his team Faf du Plessis also commented, "see you soon brother". It further indicates that the South African cricketer will also be coming to India very soon. In the comments, Raina also confirmed that he is getting a bat for Faf for the upcoming season of IPL.

Pujara will join team in Mumbai

On the other hand, CSK's new signing Cheteshwar Pujara has confirmed that he won't be joining the camp in Chennai. The 33-year-old, who has also been practicing alone, has reached Mumbai and will be joining the team there only.

CSK will be playing their first match of IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals on April 10 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Hence, most of the players who will now be travelling, are expected to head straight to the bio-bubble in Mumbai.
