After Paris Saint Germain signed the 35-year-old Spanish centre back Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid in the 2021 summer transfer window, fans have not been able to witness the iconic number 4 defender feature for the club. The former Real Madrid captain sustained a calf injury and was out of action for 2 months. However French outlet Le Parisien has finally revealed when Sergio Ramos will be making his PSG debut in the Ligue 1.

As per the reports, October 15 is the date when Sergio Ramos will be making his first appearance for Paris Saint Germain against Angers. In addition, this game will be played at Le Parc des Princes, which makes Ramos’ debut even more special in front of the home fans. However, with Ramos set to hit the pitch for Parisian giants, there will be several South American stars who will be missing the action against Angers on Friday.

Sergio Ramos to make his PSG debut on October 15

The likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi, Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria amongst a couple of other players are set to miss the particular match due to their busy national schedule. With the squad already being short-handed in the centre of the park, Sergio Ramos could also potentially start the game against Angers. As he has fully recovered from his calf injury, many expect him to be having full 90 minutes of game action.

To those who are unaware, the last appearance of Sergio Ramos on the football pitch was in Real Madrid colours when Los Blancos locked horns against Chelsea in the semi-finals of the 2020-21 Champions League campaign in May. Being a replacement of the veteran Thiago Silva in PSG, Ramos’ experience and leadership will hold the key for the club on the European stage.
